The Frog King in His Castle Lair
A reconstructed scene believed to depict an amphibious monarch within his fortified residence. Although the ruler’s true identity has been lost, surviving accounts describe a sovereign of considerable influence whose reign coincided with a dramatic decline in the local fly population.
The relationship is considered unlikely to be coincidental.
