Post Impact Recreational Objects

A collection of recovered lead spheres believed to represent an early form of recreational marble.

Originally manufactured for considerably less playful purposes, the objects appear to have been reclassified once their immediate danger had passed.

Their weight, durability and convenient spherical form made them particularly suitable for repeated handling.

Concerns regarding the material itself appear to have developed considerably later.
